When Aldar, the leading real estate developer and manager in the UAE were moving into their new headquarters on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi they were looking to build on their reputation as a respected patron of visual art by making a significant investment in quality artworks for display throughout their new offices.

xler8AD founder Emma Shortt was tasked with cataloguing the existing collection, curating and sourcing appropriate works of substance for selection by the Aldar Leadership team and then liaising with the artists, their representatives, the designers and contractors of the development in order to position the new collection for maximum effect and enjoyment.
