Fatuma & Sagoor
Having successfully created and launched www.eWaei.org – the world’s first Arabic language information portal, xler8AD was tasked by the UK Government Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) in conjunction with the Arab Regional Cyber Security Center to develop a series of videos aimed at helping young Arabic children understand how to stay safe online.
xler8AD saw an opportunity to connect this to the wider eWaei purpose of raising cyber security awareness and understanding for people of all ages across the MENA region and suggested branded videos with recognisable characters would have a greater impact.
xler8AD developed, wrote and directed a concept where a little girl called Fatuma, and her pet falcon named Sagoor have a series of short adventures during which they learn about topics like personal data protection and e-mail scams.
